As a 4.5 tennis player, and a 19 handicap golfer, Raleigh is really the best place in the country to easily play at some of the finest facilities and courses in the country. I've lived in California, Florida, and New England, and without a doubt, Raleigh has the best package of sport offerings in the country (in my opinion).

North Hills has 3 large swimming pools, a 2 year old multi-million dollar club, and just added 4 more clay courts to the 16 clay and 4 hard courts they had previously. If you are a golfer, you can't go wrong at North Ridge. North Ridge offers everything you want in a club, and like North Hills - you can get special incentives for joining at certain times or through existing members (so ask me if you are interested). Tennis, swimming, and easily the best food in the Triangle. Seriously great food and service.
